Hi, I'm Isabelle

I'm a part-time PhD student at the University of Warwick, with a focus in cognitive psychology. My main areas of research interest are reasoning and decision making. Specifically, I am interested in the contextual effects of the decision environment on these processes.

If you think I'd be a good fit for a project or would like to work with me, please feel free to get in touch! You can find all my contact details here.

I am also a Senior Graduate Teaching Assistant at the university and I especially love teaching statistics and research methods. My background is in psychology with a strong focus on stats and quantitative experimental methodologies. I believe understanding the key techniques and analyses used in our field opens the door to understanding so much of modern psychology, and I'm passionate about helping my students learn that for themselves regardless of their prior experience with maths or statistics.

In my free time I like to practice taekwondo, play table-top roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons, compete in hackathons, and write fiction - mostly sci-fi and fantasy short stories. I also enjoy learning new languages, cooking new and interesting foods, and travelling.
